Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 1 onion
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 package ravioli
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese

Equipment

  • Large soup pot or Dutch oven
  • Wooden spoon
  • Measuring cups
  • Cutting Board
  • Ladle
  • Chef’s knife

Method
 

  1. Brown the sausage in a large pot.
  2. Add onion and cook until soft.
  3. Stir in garlic and cook briefly.
  4. Pour in broth and diced tomatoes.
  5. Add ravioli and simmer until tender.
  6. Stir in cream and spinach.
  7. Finish with parmesan cheese and serve hot.
  8. Do not overcook the ravioli or it may become too soft. Fresh spinach adds the best flavor.
