Ingredients
  

  • 6 apples peeled and sliced
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons flour or cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 pie crusts

Method
 

  1. Prepare and chill pie dough.
  2. Mix apples with sugar, spices, lemon juice, and flour.
  3. Roll out crust and place in pie dish.
  4. Add filling and butter.
  5. Cover with top crust.
  6. Seal edges and cut vents.
  7. Bake at 180°C for 45–55 minutes.
  8. Cool before serving.
