Ingredients
  

  • 500 g ground beef 80/20
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slices cheese
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Optional: burger sauce

Equipment

  • Heavy skillet or cast iron pan
  • Spatula
  • Mixing bowl
  • Knife
  • Cutting Board

Method
 

  1. Divide beef into small balls.
  2. Heat skillet until very hot.
  3. Place beef and smash immediately.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Cook 2 minutes, flip, add cheese.
  6. Cook another minute.
  7. Toast buns with butter.
  8. Assemble burgers with toppings and sauce.
  9. Serve hot.
